Locality Affiliation:

Locality Affiliation represents the political inclination of the population in the simulated area. It influences the campaign levels of candidates based on their party affiliations:

• Republican: Candidates affiliated with the Republican party receive a 40% campaign level boost.
• Leaning Republican: Candidates leaning towards the Republican party receive a 20% campaign level boost.
• Democrat: Candidates affiliated with the Democrat party receive a 40% campaign level boost.
• Leaning Democrat: Candidates leaning towards the Democrat party receive a 20% campaign level boost.
• Independent: Independent candidates receive no affiliation-based campaign level boost.

Campaign Levels:

Campaign Level (1-100) represents the effort and popularity of each candidate. A higher campaign level increases their chances of receiving votes from the population. However, the sum of campaign levels for all candidates cannot exceed 100.

Write-In:

Write-In candidates are a work in progress and not currently factored into the simulation. Their impact on the election results is yet to be determined.
